Giorgi Kanashvili - Executive Director

Giorgi Kanashvili is an executive director of  Caucasian House since 2011. He has been involved in Caucasian House activities since 2004.
Giorgi completed masters studies at Ilia State University in 2012, where he commanced doctoral studies in 2013.
He has  been a part of Georgian-Abkhaz, Georgia-Ossetian and Georgian-Russian dialogue process for peace and cooperation.

Ana Dvali

Ana has been working at Caucasian House since 2012. She is a coordinator of the project “Georgian-Russian Dialogue for Peace and Cooperation”. From 2106 Ana Dvali leads the Peace and Integration Programme of Caucasian House. She holds a master degree in International Relations from Ilia State University.  In her research and analytical work, she mainly focuses on following topics: Georgian-Russian relations, particularly focusing on North Caucasus; conflicts in Georgia; Georgia’s foreign policy priorities. She has participated in dialogue processes: Georgian-Ossetia and Georgian-Russian Dialogues.

Revaz Koiava

Revaz has been working at Caucasian House since 2016. He’s involved in the project “Initiative for Youth Lead Civic Dialogue and Action”. Holds a Master’s degree of Ilia State University in Political Science. Revaz is currently doing a PhD in Russian Studies at Tbilisi State University. He is interested in Georgian-Russian relations, regional conflicts, nationalism and identity issues, and historical sociology and art theories.

Mariam Gachechiladze

Mariam Gachechiladze has been working at Caucasian House since 2014. At first she was a project officer of the project “Georgian-Russian Dialogue for Peace and Cooperation, later on she occupied the researcher position. She graduated from Georgian-American University, specializing in International Relations.  She is currently doing masters in European Integration and Labour Relations within the TEMPUS project framework. She’s interested in political ideologies, nationalism, Post-Soviet democratization and Georgian-Russian relations.

Maia Urushadze

Maia Urushadze has been working at Caucasian House since 2014, she holds a master’s degree in International Relations. Currently she’s doing masters in Public Relations at GIPA. From 2016 she’s been managing Georgian-Russian Dialogue for Peace and Cooperation.

Ana Bragvadze

Ana Bragvadze has been working at Caucasian House since 2014. From 2015 she’s been involved in the project “Revitalizing Dialogue Process through Engaging Young Professionals.” She graduated from Political and Social Sciences faculty of Tbilisi State University. She is currently doing masters in European Integration and Labour Relations within the TEMPUS project framework. She’s interested in political ideologies, post-soviet transformation, social sciences, Middle East and Scandinavian languages.

Edisher Baghaturia

Edisher Bagaturia has been working at Caucasian House since 2015. His main duties include preparing research and analytical papers. He graduated from Tbilisi State University specializing in international relations and continued his master’s studies in Diplomacy and International Politics Master’s programme at the same university. Before he started working at Caucasian House he was working at Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) as a young researcher had has been involved in the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) projects. He’s interested in conflicts in Georgia, analyzing Georgia’s foreign policy and cultural and urban geography.

Vano Abramashvili

Vano Abramashvili has been working at Caucasian House since 2015. He’s a co-author of several researches and coordinator of the project “Revitalizing Dialogue through Engaging Young Professionals”. Over the years he has studied in the United States of America and Estonia, at University of Tartu specializing in international relations.  He’s interests include:  politics of post-soviet countries, national identity and frozen and on-going conflicts in south Caucasus.
